My dad used to own Kickers...this is what he said about them:
"I had some black Kicker boots for ages and I felt like crying when I had to eventually throw them away because the thick rubber heel wore out - I wore them all the time! Maybe it's a guy thing but some of us love to have something from new and then over time to wear them so much that they become perfectly comfortable - this is what they were like."
